Ordering
How do I order?
Use the quote form, call +351 932 312 008 or message us on WhatsApp. We confirm price and delivery time.
How far ahead should I order?
The day before is ideal; in August and for events, several days ahead.
Is there a minimum order?
No. Delivery is by arrangement with our manager. More on ice delivery.
Can I change or cancel?
Yes — let us know as early as possible, ideally the day before delivery.
Delivery
Where can I buy ice in the Algarve?
Order from us for delivery anywhere on the coast from Lagos to Tavira. See our delivery areas or read where to buy ice in the Algarve.
Do you deliver same day?
When the route allows. To be safe, order the day before.
Do you deliver to villas, marinas and beaches?
Yes — see villa ice delivery and yacht ice delivery.
Do you deliver at weekends?
Yes, by appointment.
Ice & storage
Is your ice food-grade?
Yes — made from treated water in Hoshizaki machines and delivered in sealed bags.
How do I keep the ice?
In a freezer at −18 °C, bag closed. Without a freezer, in full cool boxes in the shade.
Can I freeze crushed ice?
Best not: crushed ice tends to fuse into a block. Use it on the day.
Which ice is best for cocktails?
It depends on glass and drink — see the comparison on ice types.
Do you sell dry ice?
No. We only make food-grade water ice.
Sculptures
Do you make wedding ice sculptures?
Yes — initials, hearts, luges and displays. See ice sculptures.
How long does an ice sculpture last outdoors?
A few hours on a summer evening in the shade; much less in direct sun.
Freezers
Can you provide a freezer?
Clients on a regular ice supply can get a free ice freezer from Iceology. We also rent freezers for villa parties and weddings in the Algarve. Terms on request via WhatsApp.
Payment
Do you issue invoices?
Always — for companies or private customers.
Are there terms for regular clients?
Yes, set out in the seasonal supply proposal.
